Jeff Deck wanted to make a positive difference in the world, but wondered how he could do it. Upon seeing a sign that said "No Tresspassing," his mission became clear. Jeff and his friend Benjamin soon created "TEAL" -- the Typo Eradication Advancement League.

They began a tour across the entire United States to search for and correct public typos, or the Great Typo Hunt, Two Friends Changing the World, One Correction At a Time with a book resulting that humorously accounts for their travels, mishaps and findings.
